Dairy Facilities for Sale in California
California remains the nation's largest dairy state, concentrated in Tulare, Kings, Merced, and Kern counties. Facility listings are evaluated on capacity and configuration — head locks, parlor type (herringbone, parallel, rotary), lagoon and digester status — alongside the forage base: an operation's silage and hay ground is as much a part of the deal as the parlor.
Environmental position increasingly drives value: digester economics, manure management under regional water board orders, and SGMA effects on forage acres all belong in the underwriting. Facilities near processor capacity and feed infrastructure command the premium.
